Shimano Deore XT BR-M8200

The Shimano BR-M8200 and BR-M8220 are hydraulic disc brake calipers in the XT M8200 lineup, available in 2-piston and 4-piston configurations respectively. Both use post mount attachment and are compatible with front or rear installation. Shimano's low viscosity mineral oil keeps the bite point consistent across temperatures and trail conditions in both models.

The 4-piston BR-M8220 features a 2-piece construction and supports rotor sizes up to 220mm, with finned and non-finned pad options for tuning brake feel. The 2-piston BR-M8200 includes a tool-adjustable reach setting and heat-resistant resin pistons, and pairs with the BL-M8200 lever for a balanced combination of stopping power and weight.
